And so our wonderful expedition cruise to Antarctica and some southern islands came to an end at Ushuaia.
We sailed from Stanley at 8pm and headed for Ushuaia which would take a day at sea.
At last, the cruise was in sight. From Buenos Aires we flew by Charter flight to the southernmost city in the world, Ushuaia, Argentina.
Once more we had to rise early to move on in our journey to Antarctica.

In Ushuaia Part 1 I described we spent our morning in Ushuaia exploring the town. In the afternoon we went on a narrow guage train excursion to the lake in the Tierra del Fuego National Park.

No sea day in between our visit to Punta Arenas and Ushuaia, Southern Argentina.
