
Today we travelled 230kms (142m) from Dubrovnik to Split, approximately halfway up the Dalmatian Coast, one of the 4 historical regions of Croatia.

Today we travelled 230kms (142m) from Dubrovnik to Split, approximately halfway up the Dalmatian Coast, one of the 4 historical regions of Croatia.

Over the years, as we have travelled, I have realised that there are 3 things which I particularly love to see and they are waterfalls, bridges and steeples.

The day after our walking tour of Sarajevo, at 8am, we left by coach for Dubrovnik in Croatia ,stopping in Mostar, a city which had been almost completely destroyed in the 1990s' war.
As you read in my first article for this trip, we arrived at our hotel at about 11:30pm so we had a bath and went to bed.
I have been battling to get this blog written as I have not been certain of the angle from which to write it.
After much consideration I have decided to tell you of our trip to Eastern Europe in 2014.
