Today is Saturday and our last day here in Fuengirola. It has been really wonderful to have had some full days of rest and others where we have had interesting times spent discovering the history and development of some ancient towns of Southern Spain.

When I was in Spain with my sister in 2002 we visited the town of Ronda after which getting around became rather difficult for me.
As I have mentioned, we spent a full week at Club la Costa, very interesting most of the time but also often very irritating. Before we came here we had discussed places we would visit using our rail pass and these included Marbella, Granada and Ronda
It was a real treat to know that we could unpack our bags and be settled for more than 2 days.
Today is another day on the train as we move from Barcelona to Fuengirola in the south where we will spend a week.
It has been a while since I wrote on the preparations for our trip to the Northern Lights and that is mainly because we are in the quiet period of preparation.
I cannot believe that it is more than half way through the month of May 2015! That means it is 7 months to the day before we leave on this wonderful trip. It is getting really exciting but there is so much to do.
