Assisted travel is not only for people with walking difficulties and it costs nothing.
After our day on the hop on/hop off bus to visit San Cristóbal Hill and the Bicentennial Memorial Park we had just a morning to do a bit more exploring of Santiago.
We finally got to bed at about 03:00 after flying in from Panama but were up in time to enjoy breakfast.
