We finally got to see the Panama Canal, the Pacific side where the Miraflores Locks are situated.
At the end of my last blog which described our drive up to El Valle, or El Valle de Anton to give it its full name, I said that this blog would describe our day in the town.
Our first day in Panama was spent quietly at home and then exploring the closest town where they do their shopping and go to church, Coronado.
As mentioned in my previous blog I said that I would tell you something of the country of Panama, a History and a Geography lesson.
We were up early, packed and went down to breakfast where the only warm offering was the coffee. That includes the eggs, bacon, sausages etc.
