The boat stayed docked at Zaandam for another day to allow those who had just arrived in Amsterdam on embarkation day.
For our first full day in Amsterdam we decided to venture into the city after the King’s Day celebrations were over, or so we thought.
Our next and final port of call before arrival and disembarkation in Amsterdam, was the windmill village of Kinderdijk in The Netherlands.
