Today we discovered Hollywood and Beverley Hills.
Los Angeles was to be our last stop on the US mainland.
We were up early and ready for the first hop on/hop off bus to see San Francisco.
We arrived in San Francisco (SF) after a wonderful 10 days travelling across the US my AFS family.
From the Hoover Dam we drove down to the city of Henderson where we spent the night.
We had now seen the Grand Canyon and it was time to continue West to Las Vegas.
It may have taken many years to get here but we are at the Grand Canyon and it is everything I believed it to be and more.
We travelled for 2 more days and arrived in Williams, Arizona in the evening of the 2nd day.
Yippee!! Off to tick off another item on the bucket list – The Grand Canyon.
It took us a full day of driving to reach Port Byron, Illinois from Greenville, Tennessee.
